About This Activity

Description: In this two-hour studio class lead by local community artists, students will learn the following First Half, Lead by Ms. Emily Kobert - Each week, learn how to draw something new in this step-by-step guided drawing course. This class is designed to teach elementary school-aged children how to quickly sketch and develop their drawing skills. Second Half, Lead by Mr. Kenny Clemons - Each week, learn how to paint, build sculptures, and develop foundational installation art skills. Supplies: Will be included onsite during class instruction. Format: This class will be an in-person class. Masks are recommended but not required. The max capacity for this class is 12 participants. Cost of class: This class costs $24 ($4 per week for 6 weeks). Scholarships are available! We have scholarships available for every class. If you are unable to pay the class fee, please email: director@jubileeartsbaltimore.org and request a full or 50% off scholarship. We want EVERYONE to enjoy a class at Jubilee Arts, so reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate. End-of-Session Celebration: All participants will present their final projects at our celebration, Saturday, August 15th, at 4:00 PM.
