About This Activity
Introduction to Latin and Ancient Rome offers the opportunity for students to learn the basics of the Latin language and engage with the culture and history of the Romans. Topics covered include essential Latin vocabulary, history, mythology, art, and architecture. Join us in exploring the realms of our ancient past by reconstructing the ruins of ancient Rome, reenacting naval battles, and learning about the Olympian gods. Students will also learn to read, write, and even speak in Latin! No prior study is required for this beginner's course. Campers should bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle.
