About This Activity
Energy is an important topic in grade school science curriculum and this theme explores renewable sources of energy such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. Campers will perform experiments to demonstrate how some of these sources produce renewable energy. We will visit the Energy & Environmental Resource Center to see and experience large-scale models of some of the experiments we will conduct in this segment. Week 5 Field Trip: Friday, August 7th, ACUA Week 6 Field Trip: Friday, August 13th , Covanta Camden Energy Recovery Center Eligible: K-8 *Early bird discount applied until March 1.
