About This Activity
This class is designed for students who have taken at least one class either with us or at another studio and would like to explore more advanced forms and techniques on the wheel and dive deeper into the ceramic process, firing, glazes, and more. These 7-week sessions and small class sizes will give students the opportunity to create a unique body of work from start to finish, hopefully adding lots of new skills to their pottery tool belt! From learning about shrinkage to create soap dispensers and building composite forms, to throwing jars and bottleneck vases, this class is a great opportunity to take the next steps in developing your ceramic practice! Materials Included. Cost: $350 Session II: Fridays, 10/31-12/19 (no class on 11/28), 5:30pm-8:00pm Additional, optional work time will be offered for students on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays between 10 am and 1 pm. This extra studio time is first come, first serve for available wheel use and table space. There will be no open studio time on federal holidays, but classes may run depending on the schedule.
