About This Activity
Goals of the Camp: 1) To give young baseball players the experience of a lifetime in a $50+ million stadium on LSU's beautiful campus in a fun, safe, positive, and action-packed atmosphere 2) To learn tips that will help advance their baseball development from our outstanding veteran staff of coaches 3) To develop their skills in all aspects of the game through repetition, both through playing instructional games and by doing drills Skills Covered: Hitting, Position specific Fundamentals, throwing, base running, bunting, sliding Instructional Games: Campers will play one instructional game in the morning and one in the afternoon (lasting roughly 45 minutes- 1 hour) Format (with some flexibility): Full Day (9a-4p) will include lunch Morning Only (9a-Noon) will include one instructional game and two skill sessions 2-Day Full Day (9a-4p, pick any two days) Coaching Staff: LSU Coaching staff members, other college coaches, high school coaches, club coaches, LSU players, other college players, former players looking to get into coaching and ex-professional players Additional FAQs: *Campers will be separated by age and skill level, and we will make sure that all teammate requests are met. *All campers will receive a t-shirt *If you choose the 2-day full day option, you have the flexibility to come any 2 days for that session you pick.
