About This Activity
In "Broadway Babes On Stage," children will learn about rehearsing and performing in a musical. Students will learn short clips of choreography, songs, and scenes from Willy Wonka, all while learning basic theatre techniques to prepare them to one day be in a full production (at BPAC this is possible starting in 2nd grade)! This class culminates in a performance of one or two short musical numbers immediately before the Saturday, May 3 10:00 2nd-5th grade Willy Wonka Kids Performance on the Beacon High School Stage. Following the students’ final class performance, they will receive free admission to the big show. Tuition also includes a cast t-shirt. This class runs for 10 classes: Thursdays: February 13, 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10 (no rehearsal April 17), April 24. Final performance: Saturday, May 3 at 10:00AM at BHS Instructor: Kaitlyn Reddy
