MARSH HAVEN PROGRAMS FOR KIDSGet ready for a summer of discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun with the Marsh Haven Programs for Kids! In partnership with the Beaver Dam Recreation Department, Marsh Haven Nature Center is offering a variety of nature-themed programs designed to spark curiosity and connect children with the natural world. From the interactive “Storytime with a Critter” with animal ambassadors for preschoolers to “Nuts for Nature Hands-On Youth Programs” that feature exciting wildlife, plant, and environmental science programs for school-age kids, there’s something for every young nature lover. Each program offers unique themes, engaging activities, and up-close experiences that make learning unforgettable.

Nuts for Nature Hands-On Youth ProgramsGet ready to explore, discover, and get your hands dirty! Marsh Haven staff have designed an exciting lineup of summer programs where school-aged kids can learn about wildflowers, plants, songbirds, reptiles, and more. Sign up for one program, or enjoy them all for a summer packed with nature fun!A parent/caregiver is welcome to stay for entire program at no charge.
Session 1: Wildflowers & PlantsParticipants will have the opportunity to view native plant samples all while learning about the importance of wildflowers to our pollinators as well as our environment as a whole. There will be a plant-related activity, so come prepared to get your hands dirty.
RAIN LOCATION: Program will be moved to Tahoe Park building in case of inclement weather
