About This Activity
Contemporary Art Camp: Gallery Kids Young artists will dive into the exciting world of contemporary art through painting, sculpture, collage, and mixed media design. Each day, campers will explore a different modern art style and experiment with new materials to express their creativity. Midweek, campers ages 6 and up will visit a local art gallery for inspiration, observing how professional artists display their work. Meanwhile, our youngest campers, ages 3–5, will enjoy an onsite field trip with Funtastic Labs, where they’ll explore hands-on creativity and discovery. By the end of the week, all campers will curate their very own art gallery showcase, inviting family and friends to experience their bold and imaginative works on display. Camp Enhancements: Field Trip: A Contemporary Arts museum where campers will view different forms of art and installations for inspiration. Onsite Field Trip: Funstatick Labs will be host a canvas art painting project to instruct campers on brush technique and the color wheel. Fun Friday Activity: Campers will prepare and host their very own Art Gallery to showcase their art from the week!
