Description
The annual catch and release Fishing Derby is being held this year at our beautiful Bellevue Park on Saturday, May 11, 2024. This is a fun FREE event sponsored by the Belleville Parks & Recreation Department for boys and girls ages 4-15. Registration is REQUIRED for each child participating.
Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and the fishing from 10:00am - 11:45am. Prizes will be given for the biggest fish caught in each age category, one prize for the most fish caught, and one prize for the "Most Unusual Catch" of the day. Participants will need to bring their own pole and bait. All participants MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. An awards ceremony will be after the fishing at 12:00pm. Hot dogs, chips and a drink will be provided for the kids.
Reminder: Don't forget to bring your own Pole and Bait
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ACCOMANIED BY AN ADULT
