Students will learn about the traditions related to Chinese food and the special properties of Chinese ingredients and spices, and how they are related to health. Students will be involved in cleaning, chopping, and cooking the meats and vegetables used in the dishes. We will learn and follow basic hygiene and safety rules for cooking. PLEASE NOTE: Some of the dishes for this class will contain peanuts, wheat flour, eggs, soy products and pork, chicken or seafood.
