Competition Coding (BC3) is a club focusing on the competitive aspects of programming, preparing coders for the United States of America Coding Olympiad USACO). Coaches will teach coders the core principles of competitive programming such as strategies, algorithms, and data structures. Coders will be divided into two sections based on their placement exam results. All students will be accepted (unless the maximum is exceeded), but the section they end up with depend on how well they perform in the placement exam. Coaches for the club are highly experienced with USACO and competitive programming in general, and parent leads work in relevant fields. Students who are enrolled in a Period 9 class may select the the pro-rated tuition price as they will only attend half of the scheduled sessions.
