PATs are Girl Scouts entering 7th or 8th grade who want to earn their Program Aide Award. Campers complete the GSWW Program Aide training, which is required for becoming a Program Aide the following year. Their time is split between camp activities and learning how to teach younger Girl Scouts a variety of songs, games, and outdoor skills. During camp, they also work directly with Daisies and Brownies along with experienced PAs. We attempt to help PATs earn their LiA award and fulfill all the requirements of the Program Aide Award. The week ends with a special graduation ceremony, and next year they will become Rookie PAs. (For girls going into 7th grade, they also have an option of being a regular camper instead of being a PAT. Select the camper option.)
