Students will learn the principles of 3D modeling, animation, lighting, and rendering using Blender. This beginner’s-level class covers the basics of modeling techniques and animation through hands-on assignments and demonstrations. Project examples include snowman (basics of modeling, sculpting, and putting a scene together), room design (learning to model things around us; emphasis on modeling, texturing, and lighting), mushroom (modeling, sculpting, and painting texture), and character creation (sculpting and painting a cute character). Classes are small with up to four students.
Requirements: PC or Mac computer and basic PC mouse.
