About This Activity
Description
Students will be exposed to a variety of Indian dance styles, ranging from Raas Garba to Bhangra to Bollywood. Dancers will learn proper dance form, explore different styles of movement, learn about the significance of each dance style in Indian culture, and rehearse a choreographed medley routine to be performed for family members on the final day of class. This course combines the joy of movement with cultural exploration, creating a memorable and educational experience. Participants will dance barefoot and should wear comfortable clothes they can move freely in.
