Sing your heart out and discover the music and magic of The Sound of Music! Young performers will sing and dance to popular songs from theclassic musical while discovering what it takes to choreograph an original dance routine. Through singing, choreography, theater games, andcharacter work, students will strengthen vocal technique, movement, rhythm, stage presence, and teamwork. They’ll build confidence as they learnto perform as an ensemble, tell a story through song, and find their own unique voice. With music, movement, and a little von Trapp family charm,this class will have young performers singing their way into the spotlight! Students will learn 1–2 musical numbers from The Sound of Music,culminating in a showcase for family on the final day of class.Location
