About This Activity
Join the cast of our magical outdoor teen production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed among the trees of Stulsaft Park in Redwood City. This special one-act adaptation is part of SCCT's Ghostlight program and is open to actors ages 12–18 of all experience levels. With just three weeks of rehearsals and a fast-paced, highly accessible script, this enchanting comedy using minimal costumes and sets is the perfect way to close out your summer with fairy dust, laughter and a standing ovation under the trees! Rehearsals: August 4-21 (not all actors will be called to all rehearsals). Rehearsals will take place at the SCCT Studio (1314 Old County Road, Belmont). Performances: August 22-24 at Stulsaft Park in Redwood City Audition Dates & Requirements: June 8, 1-4pm, at the SCCT Studio. Participants will be sent a folder with audition materials that they may wish to familiarize themselves with, though memorization is optional. Please dress to move!
