About This Activity
Description
This fun social skills workshop is designed for small groups of neurodivergent children ages 6-9 years old. Some of the skills taught include friendly greetings, self-calming strategies, flexible thinking, exploring feelings of shyness, sharing, fair play, compassion, empathy, and collaborative play.
NOTE: Our teachers are trained in theater education and SEL but are not therapists. Participants need to be able to participate in class safely without a parent/aide, and to be able to communicate with the teachers without parent/aide help. This class has 10 students max with 2 teachers.
