About This Activity
Double-handed Age: 12-16 Boats: Flying Junior Focus: This session will focus primarily on getting sailors ready for high school sailing. They will learn the basics of doublehanded sailing while also learning to race at the high-school level. The standard in high school and collegiate sailing on the West Coast, this 2-person boat is ideal for learning to sail or advanced racing. The two groups, beginner and racing, will give new sailors the ability to learn how to sail and more advanced sailors the ability to focus on racing. The emphasis of this class is team building, competitive advancement, and preparation for High School sailing. Attending multiple sessions is recommended.
