About This Activity

Description

We invite everyone to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of ballroom dancing! We offer an incredible atmosphere where music and movement merge, instilling a sense of lightness and confidence!

Ballroom dancing program is suitable for all ages and skill levels, allowing you to practice for both pleasure and sport. Training program includes dances: slow waltz, tango, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, cha-cha-cha, samba rumba, and jive (rock'n'roll).

Our Instructor is choreographer Aleksandra Gerusova. Mrs. Aleksandra brings us 22 years of experience and education in higher pedagogical education from Russia. She is excited for the opportunity to bring her talents and work with children here at the River Center! She holds Master's Degrees in Musical Education of Children and Choreography.

Classes meet in the River Center in the Group Exercise Room.

Thursday @ 6:00PM

*If your partner's age places them in the other class, please email Recprograms@bentonar.gov, and we'll be happy to help enroll you both together.*
