About This Activity
Welcome to Camp Broadway - a delightful week of song, dance, and acting for students ages 5-12! We'll learn selections from your favorite Broadway Shows and movie musicals, including Annie, Beauty and the Beast, The Greatest Showman, Hamilton, The Lion King, Matilda, Wicked, and more. The week culminates in a performance for family and friends. Daily Schedule Outline: - Physical and vocal warm-ups - Acting improv - Choreography rehearsal - Music rehearsal - Staging - Snack break (please bring your own snack) - Run-through of material learned for the day - Wrap-up discussion and plans for the next day Camp Broadway runs from August 11 - 15. For families seeking an all-day experience* for their students, you may register for both morning and afternoon sessions at a $60 discount. *Please note that while the morning and afternoon session curriculum is the same, different classmates, dance and scene partners will make each part of the day a unique experience. Students spending the entire day at Camp Broadway will need to bring a packed lunch to enjoy with the instructors during the lunch break.
