Run Berea is an introductory youth running program designed for beginners ages 5 and up who are curious about running and want to build confidence, fitness, and fun through movement. This program focuses on the fundamentals of running in a supportive and non-competitive environment. Participants will learn basic running techniques, pacing, stretching, and goal setting, all while playing games and engaging in age-appropriate activities. Whether your child is new to running or just looking to stay active, this program offers a great way to develop healthy habits and enjoy being part of a team.
Participants under age 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the run. We encourage both parents and grandparents to join in the fun.
The coach will select various local locations such as parks and trails to keep the sessions fresh, fun, and accessible. Whether your child is new to running or looking to build endurance, this program is a great way to stay active, make friends, and develop healthy habits for life.
Program Dates : 6/4, 6/11, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9 and 7/16Program Times : 6:00-7:00pm
All youth participants registered by 6/1 will receive a program shirt. The shirts will be given out before the June 25th meeting. Additional shirts will be available for parents, guardians and supporters to purchase.
