About This Activity
Over two 3-hour sessions, this workshop will break down Adobe Photoshop’s main features including interface, workspaces, layers, tools, type, filters, and more, helping participants from all visual arts backgrounds to gain confidence incorporating digital tools into their repertoire. Knowing the basics will give any artist a leg up in the art and design worlds, allowing them to manipulate existing images or create them from scratch. Participants can work with their own OR provided files. Although Photoshop is the industry standard tool for most digital art, there are others that we will discuss as well. Links to trial versions of software will be provided.
