This two-session class helps dogs practice good manners in real-world situations using positive, reward-based training. Dogs learn to stay calm, responsive, and polite around people, dogs, and everyday distractions, while owners learn to read body language, manage stress, and confidently advocate for their dog’s boundaries. Skills include polite leash walking, reliable basic cues with distractions, calm greetings, impulse control, and settling in busy environments. Ideal for dogs who know the basics and need help applying them in daily life. Homework and consistent practice are required, with guidance and tools provided. Please bring poop bags. No harsh training tools.Flat buckle or martingale collars, or harnesses. New Trix head halters are acceptable, see instructor for information. Dogs and owners must be comfortable working in a group setting and around other animals. 2 weeks.
