About This Activity
This class will focus on teaching the fundamentals of a marching band and introducing students to different styles of expression. During this session, students will learn how to march, carry themselves in a formal manner, play/memorize show music, and work together as a team. On Friday, the students will perform their show for anyone who wishes to see it. Students who play percussion, tuba, euphonium, or French horn will be supplied with a marching version of their instrument. Anyone interested in being a part of the color guard (flags) can join as well! We will provide poles and silks. The only requirement is that you come wanting to learn.
