Description
*Additional registrations will be accepted depending on team availability. As more players are added to the waitlist, league staff will be in touch if there are enough players on the waitlist to create additional teams. If the league is shown as full, please add your name to the waitlist for the best chance to play. * Registration deadline Sunday, August 3rd.
Division: 8-10 Year Olds
Practices: Mondays/Wednesdays, August 11th, 13th, 18th, and 20th
Games: Mondays/Wednesdays, August 26th - September 29th
*No game September 1st
Practice and Game Times: 5:15 and 6:15pm
Fee: $65 ($10 late fee after July 27th)
Location: Crow Creek Flag Football Fields
Game Times: 5:15pm and 6:15pm, depending on number of teams and players registered. Times and teams are subject to change based on participant enrollment size. There will be two 20-minute halves with one 5-minute halftime break. Each team will play 1 game per night, giving each team 2 games per week. Teams will be scheduled for a 10-game season. Rainouts will only be made up at the end of the season when feasible. Score/standings will not be kept in the 6/7-year-old division. Players must provide their own mouth guard to participate.
Program Shirts: Bettendorf Parks & Rec Jersey is required and may be added to your cart during registration. The jersey is a reversible, two-color mesh that may be used for all Bettendorf Parks and Recreation programs. Cost is $25.
Please indicate during registration if you are interested in coaching. WE RELY SOLELY ON PARENT VOLUNTEERS TO COACH THESE TEAMS. A coaches meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 7th, at 6:00pm at the Bettendorf Community Center.
Team requests will NOT be honored. Everyone will be placed on teams according to the school they attend. Returning teams will be honored when feasible. Teams will consist of 10 players, and games will be played as a 7-on-7 league.
