*Students going into grades 6-8 may register for this academy as an “add-on” to Camp Rivermont Take your athletic performance to the next level in our 7-Week Sports Performance Camp, designed for motivated athletes in 6th through 12th grade who want to get stronger, faster, and more confident in their sport. This comprehensive program focuses on speed, strength, agility, power, conditioning, and injury prevention, using proven training methods led by Zack Murphy. Zack is a former Collegiate baseball player with 10 years of experience training athletes of all ages. Zack holds his Master's in Exercise Physiology and is a former certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has also coached baseball, softball, and basketball at the high school level. During this program, your athlete will develop proper mechanics and movement efficiency and enhance overall athleticism that directly transfers to game-day performance. Beginner or experienced, Coach Murphy will help them develop their athletic skills over these 7 weeks. Things to expect: movement analysis, proper form, body weight exercises, weight room exercises (only once the athlete is ready), speed, agility, injury prevention, nutrition talk, positive environment. Cancellations and Refunds: $25 per-week, per-camper fee applies to cancellations made six (6) weeks or more before the camp session start date. $50 per-week, per-camper fee applies to cancellations made less than six (6) weeks before the camp session start date. No refund will be given for cancellations made within one (1) week of the camp session start date. Full refunds will be given if Rivermont Collegiate cancels a camp. Camps are not transferable to other participants. Session Changes: Campers may switch camps up to one (1) week before the start date of the original camp. Switching is only allowed if the requested camp has available spots. Contact the school at 563-359-1366 with all refund and change requests.
