About This Activity
This academy is designed for middle and high school students with at least one year of experience playing their instrument. The academy will focus on preparing a concert for a large group performance at the end of this two-week session. During each day, students will work in sectionals and a large group. Our academy will culminate in a concert on the final Friday to showcase our hard work over the two weeks. The academy will be overseen by Amy Carbonneau, Rivermont's interim Wind Ensemble director, who has 33 years of experience playing the French Horn and piano and performing in/leading ensembles throughout Michigan and Iowa. Mr. Ezekiel Aurelius will assist the academy.
