Description
Bettendorf Parks & Recreation has partnered with our friends at Fleet Feet to bring you a Youth Running Camp led by credentialed, experienced, and passionate running coaches! Specifically for youth ages 8-14 who are EITHER new to running or more experienced runners looking for an edge. Participants will focus on their technique, pacing, and training implementation strategies. Class will meet for 5 consecutive Mondays. Classes held 4/29-5/20 will meet at the Middle Park Lagoon parking lot.
NEW LOCATION: On 5/27, class will culminate with attendants entering into The Quad City Running Festival at The Rust Belt, located at 533 12th Ave, East Moline, IL. Registrants will enter as a team for free and get to have a whole race-day experience! There is a special start time for youth only. More info on race particulars to come.
