Description: Learn the basics of the dynamic sports of bouldering and rock climbing with an age-appropriate skills progression. In this course, you'll get an overview of basic bouldering and rock climbing gear and learn how to put on a helmet and climbing harness. Next, we learn how to spot and to keep each other safe and then advance into body movement. After we’ve mastered basic bouldering skills you'll get individualized instruction in belaying and climbing on our 45’ natural rock in Clifford Park. We'll also discuss the differences between indoor and outdoor climbing. All climbing gear provided.
