About This Activity
The goal of this camp is to teach and refine essential catching skills, with a focus on advanced receiving techniques, proper setup, and drills designed to improve throw-downs and blocking. Participants will work on key fundamentals such as receiving low pitches from both a traditional and kickstand stance, as well as developing effective pull and funneling techniques. Ferris State catchers and pitchers will be on hand to provide instruction, offer feedback, and share insights on building strong communication with both pitchers and umpires.
