About This Activity
World Geography is an exciting subject which covers the world in which we live, created by God. This course will cover the physical geography of each continent and the countries therein as well as the cultural aspects of each region. There are five “fundamental themes of geography” which every student should investigate and know. These five themes are human movement on the earth, regions of the earth, the location of the continents and countries on the earth, human interaction with the earth, and the place, or physical attributes of each region on the earth. This course will cover these fundamental themes in an enjoyable, interactive manner utilizing all learning styles. Mrs. Coffey has personally traveled to six of the seven continents and will share first hand experiences from her travels in the live class. Her desire is to equip students with the knowledge needed to understand the world and its relation to each individual person. If God should choose to call any of her students to the mission field in the future, she wants them to be equipped and prepared to understand the culture and the land to which they are sent.
