Camp Dean Horse Trekkers Week 5 – CDHWk5 C, S, A | Entering grades 6-12 Camp Dean, Big Rock IL $715 ($690 before April 1, 2025) July 13-18, 2025 Drop-off Sunday, July 14: 4–4:30 p.m. Pick-up Friday, July 19: 4–4:30 p.m. Register by June 7, 2025 Are you an avid horse lover and already experienced in traditional English style riding? Do you want an extra adventure to expand on your current horseback riding skills? Horse Trekkers is our week-long horse adventure camp! You will expand your skillset by learning to maneuver horses around obstacle courses in order to build up to a trail ride! You’ll also have opportunities for traditional camping activities such as crate stacking, canoeing, or archery. Camper Care Package New in 2025! Girl Scouts when arriving at summer camp will receive a special Summer 2025 Camper Care Kit! They will be distributed upon arrival at camp to give them even more to do during their camp stay. Prepaid Trading Post Account You can pre-pay for your camper to have Trading Post money to spend on camp merchandise during their camp stay in $10, $20, and up to $50 allotments. Any unused money in your camper’s Trading Post account will be directed to our Campership Assistance program (not refunded) to increase access for future Girl Scouts to attend Girl Scout camp.
