Camp Dean – Counselor in Training 2 –– CDCIT2 S, A | Entering Grades 10-12 Camp Dean, Big Rock IL $315 ($290 before April 1, 2025) July 20 - August 1, 2025 Drop-off Sunday, July 20: 3pm Pick-up Friday, August 1: 4pm Register by June 7, 2025 Now’s the time to pull together all the camp development and leadership skills you developed over the years. You will also engage with camp administrative staff to see the behind the scenes on developing camp programming. The CIT program is designed so Girl Scouts participate in leadership training and apply those new skills with younger campers in the same week. In addition, CITs receive additional activity training such as ceremonies, outdoor skills, fire building, and more. Activities completed during the CIT program fulfill requirements towards earning the CIT I or CIT II Award. If Girl Scouts want to earn CIT Awards, they must attend and complete CIT I before CIT II. Sessions can be attended without earning of the award. Camper Care Package New in 2025! Girl Scouts when arriving at summer camp will receive a special Summer 2025 Camper Care Kit! They will be distributed upon arrival at camp to give them even more to do during their camp stay. Prepaid Trading Post Account You can pre-pay for your camper to have Trading Post money to spend on camp merchandise during their camp stay in $10, $20, and up to $50 allotments. Any unused money in your camper’s Trading Post account will be directed to our Campership Assistance program (not refunded) to increase access for future Girl Scouts to attend Girl Scout camp.
