About This Activity
Get excited for a week full of color, creativity, and inspiration in Mini Masters! Campers will explore the fascinating world of art history and discover amazing artists from different time periods and cultures. We will learn about artists like Gustav Klimt, Paul Cezanne, Henri Matisse, and many other artists and how their unique styles changed the art world. Each day, campers will dive into various artists and create their own masterpieces inspired by what they have learned. From bold brushstrokes and self-portraits to abstract designs and imaginative pieces, campers will experiment with different materials and techniques while developing their own creative voice. Camp includes art projects, games, snacks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting). Campers should plan on bringing their own lunch, a water bottle, a snack, and clothing appropriate for the weather and be ready to have fun and make art! Camp hours are from 9am-4pm. Please pre-register your child for this camp. Participants DO NOT need a BASE membership or to be enrolled in BASE after school programs. Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
