When food becomes art. Make colorful dips, while learning about color patterns and just as colorful foods with Kate Huston of Tiny Box Worlds. Paint and play with your food while learning about nutrition, color, and the tasty things in life! This class will teach introductory cooking with easy-to-pick-up knife skills, mixing, and blending to make tasty dips. We will learn how to make dye from our food and then how to paint using our new ingredient! Camp includes art projects, games, snacks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting). Campers should plan on bringing their own lunch, a water bottle, a snack, and clothing appropriate for the weather and be ready to have fun and make art! Camp hours are from 9am-4pm. Please pre-register your child for this camp. Participants DO NOT need a BASE membership or to be enrolled in BASE after school programs. Any class payments above the suggested class fee (Take a Class/Give a Class, Help a Neighbor, Sponsor Materials) are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes. If you have any enrollment questions, please contact Rebecca at rebecca@bigskyarts.org
