This hour and a half two-part workshop happening March 24th and 31st from 4 to 5:30 pm, introduces young artists to the art of assemblage through paper collage. Participants will create a unique, finished piece inside a shadow box using a thoughtfully curated selection of paper elements, textures, and imagery. Led by artist Kate Huston of Tiny Box Worlds, the workshop guides students through layering, cutting, arranging, and composing papers to build depth, balance, and visual interest. The focus is on creativity, exploration, and making intuitive choices, while learning foundational collage techniques in a supportive and inspiring environment. This workshop encourages self-expression and imaginative thinking, and is suitable for a wide range of skill levels. Any class payments above the suggested class fee are tax deductible and will be acknowledged via email for tax purposes.
