About This Activity
In this generative creative writing workshop, rising 7th through 9th graders will read and write in a variety of genres (poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, dramatic writing). Students will have an opportunity to share and respond to each other’s work, and they will be asked to participate actively in in-depth discussions of exemplary, age-appropriate published work. Space permitting, rising 6th graders will be considered for this workshop based on parent consultation and review of a short sample of original writing. Questions email tjbeitelman@asfa.k12.al.us
