Design It + Build It! Grades 6-12
Instructor: Tracey Priska
In this class, we will be exploring the intersection of art, design and architecture while working on fun and engaging projects. We will work through the process of each design challenge by looking at historical and contemporary inspirations as a starting point for creating perspective drawings, sketches and collages, and then move to building using all kinds of materials as we construct exciting 3-dimensional models. Each student will be encouraged to explore their own voice and unique design sense as they work on building critical thinking and problem solving skills.
