Description
Video Game Design: Grades 6-12Instructor: Nichole Kaplan-RudolphIn this hands-on course, students will dive into the exciting world of video game design using Construct 3, a powerful and beginner-friendly game development engine. Through a combination of storytelling, digital art, and interactive simple programming, students will learn how to bring their game ideas to life from concept to playable prototype. Coding experience is NOT necessary.
Software Used: Construct 3 (browser-based, no installation required)
Required Hardware: Students should bring a Chromebook or Laptop to class, these materials are not provided.
Note: i pads and mobile phones do not work well with the program.
