This American Sign Language _ "Express yourself without saying a Word"
As a result of this Course, you will be able to: Know vocabulary in Sign, Songs in Sign, Games for guest entertainment, do skits, Deaf Culture tips and will learn several signs along with fingerspelling.
The book for the course is classed "The Joy of Signing" by Lottie Riekehof and can be purchased at Barnes and Nobles ($20 approx.)** Useful but not required. It will also be helpful for students to bring a loose leaf binder, paper and pens/pencils for taking notes.
Sign Language is fun, easy and ANYONE CAN LEARN it! We will learn songs and compete through playing signed games. Before you know it, you will be amazed at how much you have learned.
