THE SUNDAY HIT CLUB HAS MANY BENEFITS BUT HERE ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS: 1. Build a solid foundation for the parts of the swing that we need to base our practice around as hitters 2. See and experience creative drill work designed at building athleticism in the batters box and understanding bat path and best use of the load/step in hitting a baseball 3. Get reps that build in the direction of productivity in the swing... we are not just swinging to swing but trying to execute a drill that builds into the next drill that leads us to being competitive in the batters box 4. Building awareness of our bodies in motion, confidence in our approach and an aggressive mindset in trying to hit the baseball / softball hard. 5. Winning Routines = Winning players many times. You just don't know till you know and someone encourages a level of work and concentration needed to push past failure, our opponents, and the fundamentals of a baseball swing. 6. Look at others who have been successful and creating good mental pictures that we can then work off of and help us see the game better. The list can keep going. But I will stop right there. I really think there's value in this camp. We have done this one for the last 4 years and it's been highly successful and one of our crown jewel camps. I just love the mindset of getting "extra work" when everyone else is taking the day off. What a concept right? But, it's where great hitters start. They have to decide to put in the time and effort thus hopefully scabbing over the failure and allowing us to manage the highs and lows of hitting so much better. Cost is $205 for the 3 Sunday's (Oct. 13, 20, 27) . Limit: 15 hitters. Age 7-14. Kids will be grouped by age. Will need a bat and helmet for this camp.
