About This Activity
Learn to create your own felted appliqué for clothing in this workshop with artist Genevieve Montante. We'll be learning to needle felt directly onto our clothing, as well as scrap fabric to make decorative patches. These felted pieces can be embroidered and beaded on, or sewn onto a bag or jacket! Students are encouraged to bring clothing and accessories to up-cycle, and any printed cotton or other fabrics they'd like to incorporate into their designs. Genevieve will provide a range of wool roving and scrap fabrics to experiment with as well!
