About This Activity
Make a granny square chicken in this one day workshop with our crochet teacher Ilana! This adorable plush is a great project to make use of your scrap yarn. We will be learning how to do the granny square stitch, as well as magic circle and standing stitches. This is a beginner to intermediate level pattern and we ask that students familiarize themselves with chain stitch, double crochet, and slip stitches before class. Students should bring materials with them to this workshop - You will need: - 5 colors of DK to Worsted weight yarn (scrap yarn is great) - 3 to 3.5mm hook (3 for DK, 3.5 for Worsted weight) - stuffing or scrap yarn/ fabric to stuff your chicken with - safety eyes Students can also purchase any or all of these materials before class begins with a 10% off student discount
