About This Activity
Learn to crochet a hat in this beginner workshop. Together we will learn to read a crochet pattern, and complete the stitches required to make this cozy hat. Students will begin their projects as a group with instructor Ilana available for demonstrations and questions. We will work through the pattern together, and students will leave class with the skills necessary to complete the pattern at home. Students are asked to bring yarn and a crochet hook with them to this lesson. We recommend starting with a worsted weight yarn (medium thickness, light colored yarn that is not fuzzy or textured is easier to begin with) and appropriately sized hook (6mm) Yarn and hooks will be available with a 10% off class discount if students prefer to purchase materials before class begins.
