Learn to Knit your first sweater with knitwear designer Juliette Pecaut! This simple sweater is the perfect place to start if you've never made a garment, or are looking to expand your knitting skills in a supportive group class environment. Students will progress through the pattern as a group over four classes, with one week in between each session. This class follows Juliette’s pattern for her Just so Classic Sweater, featuring a scoop neck with raglan construction and ribbing on the sleeves and body. We ask that students bring their materials with them to class. We ask that you swatch your yarn before the first class, students will receive instructions for their swatch after sign up. Juliette will help you select your size based on your gauge swatch, yardage varies each size. Yarn: Worsted Weight Yardage: 748 (835, 926, 1020, 1116), 1221 (1329, 1440, 1554, 1671) yds Needles: US 10.5 (6.5mm) circular needles, or size to obtain gauge, US 10.5 (6.5mm) DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop, or size to obtain gauge.
