About This Activity
Learn the essential finishing skills of blocking and seaming your knitted garments in this one day workshop! this is the final session of our Learn to Knit Sampler Series taught by Juliette Pecaut. This series is designed to teach cumulative skills in a multi week format, each class can also be taken individually. We ask that students bring materials with them to this class - if you are taking this is a stand alone workshop, you're welcome to bring any project with you that needs seaming and small projects to block. Materials to Bring: Squares from previous classes or knits you want to seam (keep knits small for blocking) A darning or tapestry needle Yarn for seaming Prerequisites: You must have knitted fabric to block/seam Goals: You will learn how block small knits and seam using invisible mattress stitch to join knit pieces together
