Hill House's Baseball's Minors League (formerly AA) is welcome to players of all experience levels. In their last year of coach pitch, participants will learn to hit the ball without a tee and experience making more advanced defensive plays in the field. Teams will practice during the week and play games over the weekend. All development curriculum will be designed by our professional staff to ensure the fundamentals are learned through fun, fast and active games.Season Structure:
- Co-ed teams are created and led by Hill House baseball staff and volunteers.
- The season will consist of a regular season schedule of games, and finish with a playoff tournament to find our champions!
- As long as the weather permits, our last session will be a fun all-star style celebration where we come together as a league again and play outside our season long teams.
Equipment:
- Gloves are required.
- Jerseys and hats will be provided.
- All other necessary equipment will be provided by Hill House.
- Players are welcome to bring their own bats, helmtes, etc, but they're not required.
Please read the notes at the bottom of this page carefully, and email jking@hillhouseboston.org if you have any questions before the season starts, or if you register less than a week before the program begins.
Equipment Notes:
- Personal equipment (bats, gloves, helmets etc.) are welcome!
- All other needed equipment or materials will be provided by Hill House.
- We have spare bats, gloves, and helmets for occasional use but may not be the best fit for your player.
Important Notes:
- Families are expected to have a guardian or caretaker remain on-site.
- If families need to leave then they MUST CHECK-IN with Hill House Staff when dropping off, and SIGN-OUT when picking up.
- Cancelled sessions will not be made-up.
- We are unfortunately unable to provide individual make-up classes if the participant is absent.
- By registering for this program, all Hill House families have checked off an acknowledgement upon enrolling and are thus expected to abide by our Code of Conduct—treating our staff, volunteers, and other families with respect. Violations will be reported, and multiple violations may result in action, including removal from programs.
