Description
Grab your ice skates and head to Steriti Rink to learn to skate. This introductory class will be taught by experienced professionals and will develop kids from standing to marching to skating. Skaters will be split up by age and ability to ensure that each child will be working at their own speed for maximum development. A must for all New England kids!Please read the notes at the bottom of this page carefully, and email jking@hillhouseboston.org if you have any questions before the season starts, or if you register less than a week before the program begins.
Equipment needed for this program:• All children should bring their own skates and ski/skate wear: a helmet, gloves, waterproof pants are preferable, etc. Skate rentals may be available at the rink but would require confirmation by calling them.
Important guidelines and notes for this season:• If class is cancelled due to inclement weather or the instructor being unavailable, we will offer a make- up class.• We are unfortunately unable to provide individual make-up classes if the participant is absent.• An administrative fee ($20) may be applied for withdrawal requests after the start of the season.• All Hill House families are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct—treating our staff, volunteers, and other families with respect. Violations will be reported, and multiple violations may result in action, including removal from programs.
