About This Activity
Teachers: Ms. Tello & Ms. Coupe Grades: 1–2 Description: Book Club becomes a space where first and second graders step into stories and then watch those same tales spring to life on screen. Each session blends reading, film, and creativity: students dive into a short story, experience its companion short film, and then explore how the two versions connect, differ, and spark new ideas. From there, they turn their insights into hands on art and themed activities inspired by the book of the day, making every meeting a mix of imagination, discovery, and fun.
