Join running coach & personal trainer and physical therapist for a co-led 8-week cross training program designed to get you ready for the BolderBoulder10K in May! On Tuesdays, this class will include an outdoor dynamic warm-up, sprints, hills, or tempo run section followed by an indoor strength and mobility workout. On Thursdays, this class will include strength training, core activation, and stretching exercises. A basic 8-week 10k running program will be provided for all participants to follow leading up to the 10K race. This program is suitable for beginner and intermediate runners (less than 3 years of technical running experience). Anyone who signs up for this program receives a 15% discount on a Running Assessment with our physical therapist.
Participants must be healthy and cleared for strengthening, no current and ongoing injuries, recent surgeries nor fractures.
Tuesdays will be led by a Janelle Mistarz, a running coach and personal trainer. Thursdays will be led by Paige Dow, a physical therapist.
Anyone who signs up for this program receives a 15% discount on a Running Assessment with our physical therapist.
